THRIVE Lighting Africa

Congratulations to THRIVE, another of AAB’s partners, in being one of 16 winners of the Lighting Africa Development Marketplace competition. THRIVE were selected from among 400 competitors to help improve access to affordable, clean and safe off-grid lighting for people living without electricity in several Sub-Saharan African countries, including Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Tanzania.
THRIVE will now work on a project with the government of Kenya to train around 10 entrepreneurs to develop and make LED lights locally.
