AAB works with talented individuals with significant business/management experience ranging from high potential employees with c. 5 years of professional experience to senior executives in the later stages of their careers.

The individuals we work with come to us in two ways:

  1. As individual participants in an employer-sponsored programme
  2. As independent individuals looking for an assignment in the developing world usually as part of career transition, a sabbatical or for personal development

All of the individuals we work with can expect a highly personalised service which respects their individuality and attentive one to one support.

Most of the individuals that we work with will undertake an assignment with a partner organisation driving social value in a developing part of the world. They will be matched with that assignment on the basis of their character, experience and aspirations and the needs of the local organisation. The support that we provide in both home and host country ensures that individuals are fully prepared and can make positive impact quickly. It also provides them with peace of mind and reassurance should they need it.

Many of the programmes we develop provide individual participants with executive coaching to help them get the most from the experience from a personal perspective.

We encourage all of the individuals we work with to consider the experiences that we offer and support them through as a two-way process in which they will grow and benefit as individuals while they in turn help the organisations that they are placed with.

Participants can expect to experience something profound, developmental and highly rewarding. For many an assignment with Adopt a Business is major, and sometimes life-changing, event.
